“I couldn't live a week without a private library
- indeed, I'd part with all my furniture and squat and sleep on the floor
before I'd let go of the 1500 or so books I possess.” ― H.P. Lovecraft

Awright, it's that time again.

Yes, it's New Years Eve, but you regular readers know that it's also my Deathday.

This year I'll be celebrating it in Columbus Ohio, so to all of you whom I'd ordinarily see today, well, that's where I'll be. Don't worry, I'll be having fun and doing life affirming things. Don't want this to sound like a goddamn suicide note.

In fact, this is looking to be one of the best New Years I've ever spent, either pre or post-mortem or beyond. What would beyond be actually? Re-mortem? That sounds nice and positive. Especially since it looks like I'm finally getting my shit back in gear.

So I'll write more when I get home.

Yes, it'll be something funny next time I promise.

So Happy New Year to everyone, Happy Deathday to me, and while I'm at it, Happy Birthday to my friend Mike W.
