“I couldn't live a week without a private library
- indeed, I'd part with all my furniture and squat and sleep on the floor
before I'd let go of the 1500 or so books I possess.” ― H.P. Lovecraft

I'm back. I've been trying to keep several projects in the air here lately, none of which I'm ready to comment on at the moment, and that's why I've not been posting regularly.

TerriblyWrong.com is back up and running. Well, I guess it was never down, just kinda stalled, but now it's rolling again. We're not sure where it's going (downhill with our luck) but we're once again getting there at a brisk pace. Anyone that doesn't like it can suck my balls.

So I finally watched the 2005 version of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. I'm not going to say a lot about it here since I plan to review it for TW, suffice it to say, it's good and I liked it, but the books are much better. Yeah, I know, everyone says that when a book is made into a movie and it sounds snobbish, but most of the time they're absolutely right. There are just some things you can do in a book that you can't do in a movie. So if you liked the movie at all, read the books. If you live near me you can read mine.

I also have two other books by Douglas Adams. The criminally overlooked Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and it's follow up The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul. They're a bitch to find (or at least they were before Adams died), but they're worth it. As you can see from the links, Amazon has them listed, but that's no guarantee they'll have them.

And as long as I'm talking about books, I'm currently reading Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson and as with everything Thompson wrote it's fucking great. I don't usually like non-fiction, but the man was a freaking genius.

And while I'm thinking about it, I've put up several links to Amazon.com in this post. I did it just so you guys could see the books I mentioned and read some reviews. If you can't find them anywhere else then by all means buy them at Amazon, but if you have a super-groovy bookstore in your town like I do then buy them there.

Anyways, at 1:30 I have yet another doctor's appointment in my process of applying for disability. I would like to state once again that it never would have been necessary to go through this process had the government simply helped me when I asked them to. As a result of thier inaction it's going to cost them way more than I needed and might possibly take a few more freaking years. I also have an appointment with a psychiatrist on Tuesday at 2:30, also for my disability application.

That oughtta be freaking fun. Maybe I should just email the shrink the link to this blog and save myself the trip down there...

Apart from that everything is pretty much the same as usual here.

Yeah, that bad.

Well, I can't really say I've got it bad. I mean, my life sucks, but at least I'm not watching all my worldly possessions float down the street. For that matter, I'm not floating alongside them.

That's enough introspection for now. I'm gonna go watch some porn and spank it.
