But yeah, I'm back with a fresh shovel-full of excuses as to where the fuck I've been.
I mean, there was the holliday on the 4th and then Brian was in for a few days and then my 97-year-old Grandma fell and dislocated her shoulder so I've been visiting her at the rehab place.
These are all good reasons.
The 4th was cool, Brian's visit was cool (especially since he bought me dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings) and Grandma is enjoying her Miller High Life (she gave up whiskey a couple years ago) and recovering better than I would. They just don't make broads like her anymore. Seriously, half an hour after they put it back in place they were getting onto her because she wouldn't stop moving it.
But the real reason I haven't come by here lately? I've been working.
No, I didn't get a job. I am looking though. Anyone that would like to help me in the search can contact me at Ford_Maverick@hotmail.com. But no, I've been working on artwork. Some of it I'm making a few bucks on, but most of it is my own stuff. This is due to two things. First, I found the Wacom drawing tablet that I bought for my sister a couple months before I got sick, and second, I have begun using Photoshop for my funnybook pictures instead of my old program. That program? I'm sorry to admit that it was Microsoft Paint. Yes, MS Paint, still a viable medium if you want to work in 96 DPI for your whole career.
These changes mean my artwork will flow a bit better, but more importantly NO MORE JAGGEDY LINES!!! My logo pic at the top of the page is a good example of this, as will be all the pics on here eventually. You can thank my buddy Rem-Dog from www.TerriblyWrongOnline.com for constantly bitching at me till I finally made the change. This means you will be recieving my artistic vision much more clearly and the embeded subliminal messages should have you bowing down to me very, very soon. It also means that I'll be displaying all new items on my Cafe Press store. Items that some of you might actually buy this time around.
Anyways, that's it for the moment. More later.
